Biodynamic Pyschotherapy combines verbal psychotherapy, massage and bodywork to re-establish:

  • Independent and sustained well-being;
  • Robust physical and emotional health.

It is effective in the treatment of a wide range of physical, emotional and pyschological issues, including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Muscular pain
  • Headaches
  • Insomnia
  • Arthritis
  • ME
  • RSI
  • Poor posture

How Biodynamic Psychotherapy Works

In today’s reserved society (especially in England!) spontaneous expression of our true feelings is not always prudent or welcomed. As a result we build tension in our muscles to hold back expression.

Appropriate tonus is a necessary pre-requisite for action and expression. However if we repeatedly hold ourselves back, dissatisfaction, frustration and chronic anxiety can result. We become tense, are drawn off posture and lose the ability to breathe fully and freely.

Through a unique combination of deep-draining massage, bodywork and expression of true feelings, Biodynamic Psychotherapy works at your own pace to treat the underlying causes of these chronic pyschological patterns and physical tensions. Your body’s inherent self-regulating mechanisms are then free to eliminate biochemical stress remnants, restoring sustained emotional balance and physical health.
